In Rybnik there was another Gadiel family: Henrietta (nee Levi) and Heinrich Gadiel, with 6 Children: Egon, Ruth, Rosa, Herbert, Johanna and Curt. I don't know if my G-Grandfather Siegfried and Heinrich Gadiel were siblings or cousins and how we are related. I know that the families knew about each other. Most of them perished in the SHOAH. Some made it to America. Their descendants Horwitz, Neiger and Gilman live in MN and WA. (2010 update) |

What is the Gadiel / Bartenstein Connection (if any) to Brazil? of south America?
There was another Gadiel family in Rybnik until 1939.
Many Gadiel families came from Staedtel area (Namslau-Oppeln-Grotkau)
The name Gadiel is very rare.
