Residents of Halisa have a long tradition of activity and struggle for the neighborhood. An important part of this struggle, in addition to demanding   the authorities to provide the neighborhood with the full services and rights it is entitled to, is the voluntary work of the neighborhoods’ residents for the neighborhood. Ta’ayush movement, which is active in many ways for Arab-Jewish partnership, is joining this effort. Together we are planning two days of voluntary wotk in Halisa, towards the end of the summer vacation -  with the aim of renewing and strengthening the partnership among all the neighborhoods’ residents, as well as between residents of Halisa and those of all other neighborhoods of Haifa and the area, and all others who will volunteer and help for a more just and human society.
